Office:	Police Commission

Objectives:	I believe that my training and experience as a police officer for the past thirteen years has put me in a position to make some positive contributions as a police commissioner for the town of Newtown. I am looking forward to serving the citizens of Newtown in that capacity, as well as the men and woman of the Newtown Police Department.

Qualifications:	Police Officer assigned to Detective Bureau, Town of Stratford Police Department 13 Years Experience in Police Work Member, Stratford Rotary Club Newtown Resident, 13 Years Married 17 years to Donna, 3 Children ages 6-15

Achievements:	As a member of the Detective Bureau, my primary duties include crime prevention and community relations, along with conducting pre-employment background investigations for police officers and firemen for the town of Stratford. Classes I have completed through the Connecticut Police Officers Standards and Training Council include:
	Police ethics and stress management Advanced tactical criminal investigation of gangs. Homicide Investigations. Drug enforcement interdiction. Undercover operations and conspiracy investigations. Field training officer instructor seminar. Building community partnerships. Human diversity.
