Objectives:	Carol has served on the Newtown Board of Police Commissioners for 18 years. Currently the board’s chairman, she is running for re-election.

Qualifications:	Chairman, Board of Police Commissioners Member, Board of Police Commissioners, 18 years Retired Buyer, Pitney Bowes Corp, Danbury Former president, Newtown Republican Women´s Club Member, Newtown Woman´s Club Charter member, Newtown Business and Professional Woman (BPW) Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary A Newtown resident for almost 40 years, she is married to George Mattegat and has three children and three grandchildren.
