To help make sure that it stays �Nicer in Newtown�. Our community has been growing rapidly for an extended period of time and is experiencing some growing pains. We can and will do a better job of communicating, involving and empowering the Townspeople in the decision making process. If elected, I will use my knowledge and skills to be a strong voice and advocate for finding ways to keep us connected as a community. |

- President and Founder, Ferguson Development Group, a firm providing organizational development, planning, communications and resource development services to not for profit corporations
- Thirty years of experience working with volunteer leaders in the planning and implementation of capital and programmatic efforts for public and private initiatives in higher education, health care, social services, youth, Olympic sports, etc.
- Secretary, Newtown Conservation Commission (Previously Open Space Task Force)
- Former Member, Newtown Inland Wetlands Agency (When it was Conservation)
- Inland Wetlands Certificate, University of Connecticut and Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection
- Soccer Coach and Volunteer, Newtown Youth Soccer and elsewhere for 12 years
- Former Executive with Adelphi University, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and United Way of Tri-State
- Certified Fund Raising Executive, continuously certified since 1986
- Former Board Member, American Association of Fund Raising Counsel
- Former Board Member, Association of Fund Raising Professionals, Long Island
- Former Board Member, The Giving Institute
- B.S. in Finance from Fordham University
- MBA with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Planning from Adelphi University
