Office:	Board of Finance

Objectives:	I believe the Board of Finance has two main objectives. One is to monitor the current financial activity of both the Board of Selectman and the Board of Education. This requires the Board of Finance to review all the detail and to question areas of concern. Secondly, the Board of Finance must be the driving force behind financial planning for the town. Increased expenses, capital improvements and the rapid growth of Newtown must be measured against the desires of the taxpayers to support the yearly budgets.

Qualifications:	6 year Member, Newtown Board of Finance Credit Analyst, Newtown Savings Bank, 5 years Chairman, Finance Council, St. Rose of Lima Church Past member, Newtown Charter Revision Commission Past member, Newtown Park & Recreation Commission Worked in Accounting field for over 30 years, primarily with the DuPont Company in Newtown. BS, Niagara University MBA, University of Bridgeport 35 year resident of Newtown Married to Gerry with two grown children and seven grandchildren.
