Objectives:	Spend town monies wisely so as to meet needs (not "wants") while minimizing tax increases. Develop Fairfield Hills in a manner that: Keeps ultimate control with the Town Maintains significant open space Provides for present and future municipal space needs; Adds an integrated commercial presence to diversify tax base.

Qualifications:	Incumbent and Chairman, Newtown Legislative Council Chairman, Ordinance Committee, 1998-2003 Member, Ad Hoc Elderly Tax Relief Committee, 1999-2000 Chairman, Hattertown Historic District Commission, 1993-1997 Chairman, Middle Gate School Site-Based Management Council, 1995-1997 Member, Republican Town Committee Trustee, Newtown Historical Society, 1997-2001 Colonel, United States Marine Corps Reserve (Operation Iraqi Freedom 8/06-3/07) B. A. and A.M., University of Pennsylvania (political Science/Public Policy) J. D., Boston University Newtown resident 15 years, married (wife Moira, daughter Amelia)

Achievements:	Drafted and introduced litter ordinance and ordinances affording tax relief to the elderly, disabled, volunteer firefighters, ambulance personnel, and surviving spouses of firefighters and police killed in line of duty. Drafted an ordinance modifying existing ordinances allowing the fines imposed for ordinance violations to accrue to Newtown, not the State of Connecticut. As Chairman, brought Coucil to consensus during difficult budget times
