- Drafted and introduced litter ordinance and ordinances affording tax relief to the elderly, disabled, volunteer firefighters, ambulance personnel, and surviving spouses of firefighters and police killed in line of duty.
- Drafted an ordinance modifying existing ordinances allowing the fines imposed for ordinance violations to accrue to Newtown, not the State of Connecticut.
- As Chairman, brought Coucil to consensus during difficult budget times
