David Landau

My name is David Landau, and I am seeking an alternate position on the Planning and Zoning Board.

I have proudly called Newtown my home for the past 23 years, alongside my wife Jen, with whom I've shared 30 years. Our two sons are homeowners in town, living with their spouses. Both are graduates of Newtown High School.

Professionally, I lead a successful real estate business in partnership with Jen. My extensive knowledge of real estate equips me with the experience for a role on the Planning and Zoning Board. Moreover, my background spans over 30 years in the automotive industry, fostering skills in problem-solving, technical matters, and exceptional customer service.

Newtown has not only provided an exceptional environment to raise our children but also allowed me the privilege to serve as a member of the Newtown Lions Club. Additionally, I have diligently served as the President of the Newtown Board of Realtors for two years, held a Vice President position for another two years, and currently remain an active board member. My engagement extends to the Connecticut Association of Realtors, where I’ve held board positions and have contributed to the Legislative, Nominating, and Strategic Planning Committees.
